Worldview Assignment The Bible - 813 Words

Worldview Assignment We live in a world where Christians are constantly challenged and forced to comply with â€Å"political correctness† on a daily basis. The adverse impact is intended to erode away morals and values outlined in the Bible. School children are indoctrinated that to be a â€Å"good† Americans, they must be sensitive to other subversive groups under the guise of diversity. For this challenge Christians must have a worldview that incorporate Biblical principles in a unified forum to respond with true convictions. Worldview is a perception in which an individual interprets the world in relation to their understanding of reality. It governors our response that â€Å"ideas that have consequences† and attitudes to define awareness in all human endeavours. â€Å" In the beginning God created the heavens and Earth.† Genesis 1:1 EVS. By the third day God said â€Å"let the land produce vegetation. Genesis 1:9 ESV. It was the spoken word of God, that allowed life to start here on Earth.The fifth day â€Å"brought creatures from the sea and in the air† Genesis 1:20-22 EVS. and the sixth day God created â€Å" livestock and creatures that moved along the ground.† Genesis 1:24-25 ESV. Conflict Management Styles Conflict occurs in organizations whenever a difference of opinions exists. People disagree over many things including but not limited to, policies and procedures, the overall direction of the company, and distribution of rewards. This type of conflict is substantive conflict, as described in our reading text organizational behavior as a, fundamental disagreement over ends or goals to be pursued. The second type of conflict is emotional conflict; which involves, interpersonal difficulties that arise over feelings of anger, mistrust, dislike, fear, resentment, and the like. This type of conflict occurs when two or more persons do not see eye to eye or simply do not get along for whatever reason. I†¦show more content†¦If he senses unhappiness or potential conflict with regards to a situation, he now calls the person or persons in question in to his office to discuss. He encourages his employees to look at the bigger picture rather than the small one - the issue. By doing this and having them focus on the overall aim and objective of the company, he successfully manages to put conflicts and differences of opinion into a real life perspective. To summarize our approach to direct conflict, I can assure you that we have tried all of the five different approaches to conflict management. The company originally tried the avoidance method. This method clearly did not work. It resulted in unhappiness, frustration and the eventual termination of employment of one employee. We do occasionally use the accommodation or compromise methods of dealing with conflict but realize that these are only temporary measures or a band-aid fix to a potentially larger problem. We very rarely use formal authority to end conflict. In the type of business we are in there are often times no right or wrong answer to a particular problem and using authority to issue a directive can be a potentially damaging way to deal with a situation. Introduction Sport, over the years, has been used as a gateway for peace during troubling times. It’s important to note many of the core values in sport, such as fairness, discipline, and respect for the rules and others participating, are key players in the overall goal to attaining peace. According to the United Nations, those intrinsic values can help promote both the social cohesion of multiple organizations and the idea of a peaceful coexistence. Bank is only concern about the Customer satisfaction when there are more facts that should taken for ranking 3. When concentrating about the Customer Satisfaction factor we are clearly facing a halogen, how can we identify the customer satisfaction because Human is dynamic creature. Some Customers can be satisfied and some customers can never be satisfied because there needs and wants are clearly different. As Abraham Moscow has described there are different needs and want and there are different motivators. As we can see Human can not be easily satisfied. 4. Managers can not always control their subordinates. This is another limitation in the current ranking method in Crop Bank. Managers will not be able to control their subordinates; subordinates will always use their personal feelings within the aerospace. Managers can’t always control this. Reward system only concerns about the customer satisfaction this because of the subordinates work Managers may have to pay the price. 5. The current reward system of the Crop Bank will not effect to the entire bank. Customer satisfaction will be only effect to the front office where the customers usually go. But when it comes to the back office customer satisfaction is not enough. For an example Accountants Job can’t be evaluated from Customer satisfaction. So as we can see current rewarding system is not enough to evaluate the entire banking industries. 6. In the case study it is clearly mention from this reward system only the salary of the employees will go up. But not all people will get motivate from financial benefits. No attempts are made to break down the Jobs by specific weighted criteria. The committee members merely compare two jobs and Judge which one is more important, or more difficult to perform. Then they compare the other Job with the first two, and so on until all the Jobs have been evaluated and ranked. Then, the committee allocates the total pay rates or each Job to each factor based on the importance of the respective factor to the job. A Job comparison scale, reflecting rankings and money allocations, is developed next. The raters compare each Job, factor by factor, with those appearing on the Job comparison scale. Then, they place the Jobs on the chart in an appropriate position. D. Point method: Raters assign numerical values to specific Job components, and the sum of these values provides a quantitative assessment of a Job’s relative worth.
